Well, there certainly isn’t anything to feel guilty about. Like you said, part of the family. But it is true that such extreme differences between the-haves and have-nots are horrific and the townspeople have a right to be angry. But not towards you – towards their governments.

Thanks for commenting.

I agree that it is a sad story, and it’s something that I wrote about a year ago, but couldn’t bring myself to post it until now. I feel very conflicted about the whole topic, and even more so knowing how angry some people in our town were that such extreme measures were taken to save a cat, and how far that money could have gone to help people in the area.

On one hand, it seems shameful, but on the other hand, he’s part of our family and we were lucky enough to have necessary resources at our disposal to take care of him. I completely understand people being angry about it, but I don’t think I would have been able to choose not to do whatever I could to get our cat back to health.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and leaving your kind words.

The best thing to do is to try some comparison sites like Expedia.co.uk, then try going to the top 3 chaepest places it tells you direct, which usually end up being even cheaper.
